Who will you be working with?

Wabtec’s Digital Intelligence Signaling & Systems team is a recognized industry leader in the successful delivery of complex integrated system projects. These projects involve signaling, train control, communications, and back-office solutions with a strong focus on project execution, schedule adherence, and customer satisfaction

Where is the position located?

Kewdale, Western Australia

How will you make a difference? 

Reporting to the Procurement Manager, the Logistics Specialist will support project and operational requirements by managing procurement, vendor relationships, purchase orders, invoice approvals, and inventory control. Liaise with suppliers to obtain quotes, maintain bills of materials, and ensure the timely availability of materials and equipment. Utilise ERP systems and Microsoft Office applications to maintain accurate records and support logistics and procurement activities.

What will your typical day look like?

• Liaising with Vendors to obtain quotes for purchasing products required for projects;

• Raising purchase orders and maintaining bill of materials;

• Vendor Management;

• Vendor Invoice Approval; and

• Inventory Control.

What do we want to know about you?

• Electrical equipment knowledge is preferred;

• ERP System;

• Microsoft word and excel; and

• Experience in Logistics and Procurement.
