About the role  

As the Delivery & Governance Manager, you will have the responsibility to oversee and coordinate the day-to-day delivery across a broad area like technology initiatives, legislative and regulatory change, platform enhancements and service improvements across CSC’s Administration Platforms. Working closely with the Senior Account Manager, managed service providers, vendors, business stakeholders and technology teams, you will monitor delivery against agreed commitments, manage risks, issues, dependencies and compliance requirements, and escalate where needed. 

You will act as CSC’s day-to-day liaison for platform delivery, providing vendor governance, service performance oversight and delivery assurance to ensure partners deliver against agreed outcomes, service levels and business priorities. The role also provides additional delivery and governance capacity across Administration Platforms & Compliance, supporting platform operations, strategic initiatives and legislative change while contributing to operational resilience, regulatory readiness and continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

 Delivery & Service Oversight (80%)

• Coordinate and oversee the delivery of technology initiatives, platform enhancements, regulatory changes, and service improvement activities delivered by managed service providers and delivery partners.
• Provide delivery direction, prioritisation, and stakeholder coordination to support successful delivery outcomes.
• Monitor delivery performance, risks, dependencies, and issues, ensuring timely escalation and resolution where required.
• Support governance forums and decision-making processes to ensure delivery activities remain aligned with business priorities and objectives.

Platform, Vendor & Compliance Governance (10%)

• Support governance and oversight of administration platforms, managed service providers, and delivery partners to ensure agreed outcomes, service levels, and contractual obligations are met.
• Coordinate activities associated with legislative, regulatory, and compliance initiatives impacting administration platforms and business processes.
• Review and challenge delivery artefacts, plans, reporting, and service performance information to ensure quality, completeness, and alignment with business requirements.
• Support compliance, audit, incident management, and operational risk activities across administration platforms.

Governance, Assurance & Continuous Improvement (10%)

• Provide delivery assurance through monitoring platform performance, delivery commitments, risks, issues, and remediation activities delivered by managed service providers and delivery partners.
• Coordinate executive, governance, compliance, and operational reporting, ensuring stakeholders receive accurate and timely information to support decision-making.
• Monitor vendor and service delivery performance, identifying opportunities to improve service quality, reduce risk, and enhance operational outcomes.
• Promote a culture of continuous improvement across platform delivery, governance, and service management practices.

Specific duties, deliverables and reporting lines may vary from time-to-time dependent on business needs and priorities. Key objectives and measurements will be captured in the Performance & Development planning cycle, established annually and adapted as needed.

• Relevant tertiary qualification in Business, IT, Project Management, Commerce, Finance or a related discipline.
• Professional certification in project delivery, service management, governance, risk or compliance (e.g. PRINCE2, Agile, PMI, ITIL) is desirable.
• Experience overseeing technology, operational, regulatory or business change initiatives across internal teams, vendors or managed service providers.
• Demonstrated experience working with vendors, managed service providers or third-party delivery partners.
• Strong governance, risk management and delivery assurance capability, with the confidence to review, challenge and monitor delivery against agreed outcomes.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to influence and coordinate across business, technology and external partners.
• Ability to manage competing priorities, identify emerging risks and support effective decision-making in complex delivery environments.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret information and provide practical recommendations.
• Experience in superannuation, financial services, government or another regulated environment is highly regarded.
• Exposure to legislative, regulatory or compliance-driven change is desirable.
• Understanding of vendor governance, service level management, and managed service delivery models.
• Experience supporting audit, compliance, incident management, or assurance activities.
