Trade Assistant – Timber Machining

Working alongside an experienced team, the successful applicant will receive on-the-job training while developing valuable skills in timber machining and manufacturing. Role Description

Support the timber machining workshop by assisting production, handling materials, operating machinery with training provided, and contributing to a safe, efficient and productive team environment.

Responsibilities Will Include:

• Assist machinists with daily production activities

• Prepare, cut, stack and feed timber through machinery

• Operate workshop equipment following training

• Maintain a clean, organised and safe workshop

• Assist with loading, unloading and general workshop duties

This Role Will Suit Someone With:

• A strong work ethic and reliable attendance

• 3+ years work experience ideally in a related role

• Enjoyment of hands-on, physically active work

• Basic experience using hand and power tools

• A current driver's licence and reliable transport

• Full Australian working rights with unrestricted work eligibility (applications requiring visa sponsorship or temporary working holiday visas cannot be considered)
