Structural Engineer

Seeking a Structural Engineer with 2-5 years' experience in structural engineering, including experience working on bridge projects and bridge inspections.

Join NTRO's Structures Engineering team, focused on delivering key bridge and transportation structures asset projects to clients across private and public sector. This role is suited to individuals with experience in the design, inspection, construction and management of transportation structures.
We are seeking a Structural Engineer with 2-5 years of experience who has developed strong technical capability in structural engineering and has experience working with bridges, including bridge inspections, assessment and design.
Beyond technical capability, NTRO is invested in developing the future leaders of the industry. The successful candidate will be motivated to continue developing their expertise while contributing to complex and challenging projects.
We have an exciting role available within the Structures Engineering Team. This role will be full-time, based within our Melbourne or Brisbane office.

Main duties of the role

• Deliver structural engineering services across bridge and transportation infrastructure projects.
• Undertake bridge inspections across Australia, structural assessments and technical investigations.
• Prepare technical reports and provide practical engineering recommendations.
• Build strong working relationships with clients, stakeholders and team members through effective communication.
• Take ownership of project tasks and contribute positively to project outcomes.
• Continue developing technical expertise and leadership capability through challenging and diverse projects.
• Promote safety in all aspects of project delivery

You should apply if:
 

• You are tertiary qualification Structural Engineering or Civil Engineering (Structural)
• You have min 2-5 years' experience in structural/ civil engineering
• You have demonstrated experience working on bridge and transportation infrastructure projects.
• You have experience undertaking bridge inspections and structural assessment
• You have great verbal, presentation and written communication skills
• You have experience preparing technical reports and engineering documentation.
• You are highly motivated and ambitious with a desire to continually learn and grow.
• You're looking for growth and career development
• You are comfortable in travelling for inspections and you have a valid Australian driver's license
