Anglicare
Location: Greater Sydney Region, NSW
Location type: Hybrid
Date advertised: 21st August 2026
Job Type: Full time
Closing Date: 6th September 2026
Chief People Officer, Residential Care
Anglicare
For over 170 years, Anglicare has walked side by side with individuals, families and communities supporting them to live full and flourishing lives. As a Christian organisation, our mission to bring the love of Jesus is an important driver of how we support residents and the communities they serve.
The CPO, Residential Care is responsible for building and sustaining a workforce and culture that reflects the organisation’s Christian identity, mission, and values, while ensuring compliance with Australian aged care legislation, employment law, and contemporary HR best practice.
Reporting to the Chief Executive of Residential Care, and as a member of the Executive Leadership Team for Residential Care, you will be responsible for leading the People and Culture function across all areas: Organisational Design, Learning & Development, Talent Acquisition, Business Partnering, Industrial Relations and Health & Safety. As a newly combined team after a significant acquisition, the CPO appointment is critical for driving alignment, values and uniting the ELT to achieve their strategic goals and embed the new operating model.
This is a unique opportunity to participate in an ambitious transformation agenda while working with values-led leaders transforming the lives of their residents. Bring your experience leading a large geographically disperse workforce. Experience integrating a newly merged leadership team will be highly regarded and an understanding of a highly regulated sector will stand you well for success.
