Adelaide Service Delivery Production & Treatment Alliance (P&T Alliance), a collaborative partnership between SA Water and SUEZ Water, responsible for delivering reliable, high-quality water and wastewater services across metropolitan Adelaide. Together, we operate and maintain critical water treatment plants, wastewater treatment plants, pump stations, and water supply infrastructure that support communities across South Australia.

About the Role

We are seeking a proactive and technically capable Customer Water Supply Coordinator to join our Water Operations & Maintenance team based at Hope Valley.

Reporting to the Customer Water Supply Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring the safe, reliable, and efficient operation and maintenance of above-ground water supply assets, including tanks, pump stations, control valves, and trunk mains. You'll work closely with operational, engineering, maintenance, and planning teams to optimise asset performance, support maintenance activities, and contribute to exceptional customer outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

•            Coordinate the safe operation and maintenance of water supply assets.

•            Manage site safety systems, permits, and compliance requirements.

•            Monitor asset performance and identify opportunities for operational optimisation.

•            Review operational and analytical data to support effective decision-making.

•            Drive continuous improvement initiatives and operational best practice.

•            Support incident management, audits, and regulatory compliance activities.

•            Facilitate maintenance works and provide input into capital projects from planning through to commissioning.

•            Work collaboratively with operational teams, engineers, contractors, and SA Water stakeholders.

•            Ensure site security, housekeeping, and asset condition standards are maintained.

•            Assist with tank inspection and cleaning programs.

•            Support the adoption of new technologies and innovation initiatives.

•            Contribute to budget management and operational efficiency programs, including energy optimisation.

What You'll Bring

•            Knowledge of water supply networks, water quality, and water distribution principles.

•            Understanding of hydraulics and valve operations.

•            Experience working with SCADA, telemetry systems, and Microsoft Office applications.

•            Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.

•            Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.

•            Ability to build strong working relationships and influence outcomes.

•            Demonstrated ability to work effectively within a team environment.

•            Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities.

•            High attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.

•            Current unrestricted driver's licence.

•            Relevant Trade Certificate and Licence with industrial sector experience.

•            Demonstrated experience diagnosing faults and repairing complex mechanical and/or electrical systems.

•            Trade qualifications in a mechanical or electrical discipline.
