About the Role

Are you an organised, solutions-focused operations professional who thrives on improving processes and supporting business performance?

We're looking for a Retail Operations Lead to join our Western Markets team and play a critical role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our ANZ retail and commercial activities. Reporting to the Sales Director, Western Markets, with a dotted-line relationship to the National Sales & Education Manager, you will partner closely with Sales, Retail, Marketing, Finance and Operations teams to deliver operational excellence across the business.

Salary: $80,000 - $90,000 + Superannuation, based on experience.

This is a varied and hands-on role combining retail operations, stock management, project coordination, store development support and business administration. You'll help drive efficiency, support key commercial initiatives and ensure our retail operations are set up for success.

 

Key Responsibilities

Retail Operations & Business Support

• Manage operational planning for Jurlique company stores, including monthly sales targets, commission calculations and sales incentive tracking.
• Provide sales reporting and business insights to support commercial decision-making.
• Support product launches, retailer requirements, budgets, invoicing and business administration activities.
• Partner with internal stakeholders to maintain operational excellence across all channels.

Inventory & Stock Management

• Oversee stocktake cycles across company-owned stores and reconcile inventory variances.
• Monitor stock performance, investigate shrinkage trends and identify process improvements.
• Manage inventory allocation and replenishment through analysis of sales and stock data.
• Support Shopify POS setup, promotions and retail system management in collaboration with Marketing and Digital teams.

Store Development & Projects

• Lead operational activities for new store openings, refurbishments, relocations and closures.
• Coordinate store maintenance, repairs and operational readiness across retail locations.
• Support the delivery of store development projects and ensure all operational requirements are completed.
• Contribute to business projects across Western Markets, driving timelines, stakeholder engagement and project outcomes.

Process Improvement & Collaboration

• Develop and improve standard operating procedures to enhance efficiency and consistency.
• Conduct regular store visits to identify opportunities to simplify processes and improve execution.
• Support distributor and go-to-market processes, KPI tracking and business reviews.
• Provide guidance and support to the Operations Support Assistant to ensure consistent delivery of key operational activities.

About You

We're looking for a proactive and detail-oriented operations professional who enjoys working across multiple projects and building strong relationships with stakeholders. You'll bring:

• Experience in retail operations, business operations or a similar role.
• Shopify POS experience or exposure to retail systems.
• Strong retail and customer service experience.
• Advanced Excel skills and confidence working with data and reporting.
• Exceptional organisation and time management skills.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving capabilities.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• The ability to work independently while effectively managing competing priorities.
• A continuous improvement mindset and passion for operational excellence.
