Laser and Press Brake Operator

Trig Point is a growing Australian manufacturing business producing Ute canopies, trays, and other 4WD accessories.

Established in 2016, Trig Point is based in Rowville and has undergone a significant expansion of manufacturing facilities.

We pride ourselves on creating high-quality products that are both functional and perform to meet our customers’ expectations.

We looking for a Laser and Press brake operator to join our workshop. This hands on role involves working our LVD and Trumpf press brake as well as helping across various areas of fabrication when required.
Previous experience on similar machines would be helpful in this role, yet the role could be modified and training provided for the right candidate looking to start out in the industry.

Responsibilities:

• Operate LVD and Trumpf press brake

• Operate LVD Fiber Laser Cutter

• Deburring parts where required

• Read and interpret technical drawings

• Undertake general Sheetmetal fabrication and assembly tasks

• Maintain a clean, safe, and efficient workspace

• Record completed jobs on production scheduling software

• Work collaboratively with a supportive and skilled team

What We’re Looking For:

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality

• Reliable, motivated, and willing to learn new skills

• Sheetmetal or fabrication experience.

• Experience operating a press brake and/or laser highly regarded

An interest in 4x4's would be beneficial to the role.
Training is available for applicants looking to step up and progress their career.

Salary is negotiable depending on experience.

Working hours are 7:00AM – 4PM
Overtime available
Sheetmetal factory operates on a 9 Day Fortnight (Closed every Second Friday)
