About the role

Benchmark Radiology Clinic is a private radiology clinic in Hillside dedicated to providing exceptional patient care and diagnostic imaging services. We are seeking an experienced, full-time Medical Receptionist to serve as the face of our clinic.

Key responsibilities

• Warmly greet patients, manage intake, and handle front-desk check-ins and check-outs.

• Schedule patient appointments for radiology services

• Handle high-volume incoming phone calls, patient inquiries, and electronic referrals.

• Process patient billing, Medicare claims, and private health fund transactions.

• Maintain accurate, confidential patient records in compliance with privacy regulations.

• Liaise with referrers, radiologists, and clinical staff to ensure efficient daily operations.

About you

• Previous experience as a Medical Receptionist (radiology experience highly regarded).

• Strong understanding of Medicare billing item numbers and health insurance processing.

• Outstanding communication, interpersonal, and multi-tasking abilities under pressure.

• High attention to detail and sound professional discretion.

• Preference for someone available to work the 5.5-day weekly roster though some flexibility may be offered.
