About this Opportunity
Reporting to the Head of Aircraft Airworthiness & Maintenance Control (HAAMC), you will provide high-level support in the oversight and management of the continuing airworthiness of RFDS SA/NT’s fleet of 32 aircraft operating throughout South Australia and the Northern Territory.
The role is responsible for ensuring aircraft airworthiness is maintained in accordance with CASA regulatory requirements, approved maintenance programs, and organisational policies. This includes monitoring compliance with maintenance schedules, Airworthiness Directives, mandatory inspections, defect management processes, maintenance records, and continuing airworthiness requirements for the PC-12, PC-24 and Cessna Caravan C208B fleets.
You will play a key role in overseeing the organisation’s airworthiness management system, administering the aircraft reliability program, monitoring fleet reliability and performance trends, and driving continuous improvement initiatives to strengthen compliance, governance, and airworthiness outcomes. The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for aviation regulation, continuing airworthiness management, and the development of robust processes that support safe and compliant aircraft operations.

About You
You have:
A Good Working Knowledge of Aircraft reliability to enable you to take the lead with the current aircraft reliability program.
Proven experience in the aviation industry in relation to aircraft maintenance and maintenance control.
A good understanding of relevant CASA regulatory requirements.
Prior experience in a similar role is highly advantageous.
