The Opportunity

You will deliver an exceptional dining experience for residents, overseeing all aspects of kitchen operations — including menu planning, food quality, staff leadership, hygiene standards and budgeting. Your regular working hours will be between 9:00 and 17:00, providing consistency and balance in your day.

Your leadership will ensure our residents enjoy nutritious, beautifully prepared meals in a warm, welcoming and wellmanaged environment.

Your Responsibilities

Leading and mentoring Cooks and Kitchen AssistantsManaging rosters, budgets and daily kitchen operationsOverseeing menu reviews and nutritional standardsMaintaining excellent hygiene, safety and complianceCreating a positive, respectful and collaborative team culture

Who We Are Looking For

Trade Certificate or Diploma in CookeryExperience in Aged Care or similar environment (ideal)Strong leadership and communication skillsAbility to problemsolve and maintain high quality standardsWarm, professional manner and genuine respect for older peoplePossesses strong communication skills in Chinese and or VietnameseNDIS Worker Screening Check & COVID19 vaccinationUnderstanding of Traditional Asian Meals — Ability to plan and prepare authentic traditional Asian dishes that meet cultural expectations, dietary needs and agedcare nutrition standards
