The Finance team is collaborative, commercially focused and plays an important role in supporting business growth, governance and performance.
Position
A senior financial accounting role combining hands-on month-end ownership with technical accounting, audit, governance and management reporting.
You will work closely with Finance leadership and key business stakeholders, with strong exposure beyond transactional accounting.
Key responsibilities:

• Own and review month-end journals, reconciliations and financial reporting.
• Analyse results, investigate variances and provide clear management insights.
• Prepare technical accounting papers and support accounting judgements.
• Support Audit Committee, governance and statutory reporting requirements.
• Manage external audit requests, evidence and remediation of findings.
• Partner with Commercial, Property and Projects on accounting matters.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, cash flow, capex and other financial analysis.
• Identify control gaps and drive process improvement and standardisation.
• Support finance transformation, systems and reporting improvements.
• Coach and review junior team members where required.

Profile
We are looking for a technically strong accountant who wants to broaden their experience beyond month-end execution.
You will bring:

• CA/CPA qualification.
• Strong financial accounting and month-end experience.
• Solid technical accounting and financial controls knowledge.
• Experience with external audit and statutory reporting.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capability.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to explain complex accounting matters clearly.
• A proactive, commercially minded and continuous improvement approach.
• Confidence to work with senior stakeholders and challenge constructively.
