Customer Service Representative

We are a leading Solar Equipment Wholesaler supplying premium products to our valued customers in Australia and New Zealand.

Reporting to the Customer Service Team Leader, the Role involves

• Answering phone and email enquiries in a polite and courteous manner

• Entering Quotes and Sales Orders into Computer System checking price

• Providing Customers with Account Detail Forms to set up as PREPAID for first 5 transactions.

• Providing customers with Credit Account Application Forms, if required for Finance to do credit checks and advise on Credit Limit Approved

• Verifying stock availability to determine customers expected delivery date and which warehouse stock can come from, refer to Allocation sheets where products are oversubscribed ( Demand/ Customer Orders exceeds supply)

• Quoting Freight charges using Freight companie’s platforms.

• Issuing Sales Order Acknowledgment to customers with correct price and due date

• Verifying Customer account is within Credit Terms with Accounts team before requesting stock / sales order to be released for shipping (Process of Packing slip being created and sent to relevant warehouse)

• Obtain dimensions of packed order and book freight 

• Track and Trace orders in transit for customer updates

• Provide customers with data sheets / product brochures as required

• Taking over the phone credit card payments from customers.

• Develop product knowledge to enable substitute products to be offered to customers when items are in short supply

• The ability to work in a fast-paced environment, while maintaining a high standard of accuracy.

• Ability to work out cubic metres to enable correct freight calculations
