The Ferny Grove Tavern is looking for a driven, floor-focused Assistant Manager who brings great energy to the room and knows how to keep a large crew moving in perfect sync.

"The Ferny Grove" is a buzzing local centerpiece. Whether it's managing a packed weekend dining crowd in the bistro, running a high-tempo sports bar during major live games, or overseeing our top-tier gaming room operations, this venue requires a leader who loves being right at the heart of the action. We need someone with sharp operational instincts who can maintain elite standards and ensure our tight-knit community of regulars receives gold-class hospitality every time.

A Day In The Life Of An Assistant Manager

Inherent Requirements

This is a hands-on role that involves manual handling and lifting as part of regular duties (e.g. moving stock, kegs, and deliveries). Applicants must have the ability to perform physical tasks safely and efficiently.

About You

You’ve been around the bar, bistro, or gaming room block, and maybe already done some supervisingYou’ve learned from great managers and now you’re ready to step upYou’ve got the confidence, pride, and people skills to be the face of the pub when the boss is awayYou’ve got a current RSA/RSG, RMLV and Approved Managers Licence as per state requirements
