Automatic Door/ Gate/ Roller Shutter Technician

We’re seeking skilled team players to join our team of Automatic Door, Gate & Roller Shutter Technicians! Due to steady growth, we have multiple roles open for great skilled trades people in our dynamic Field Service team. 

What you'll be doing:

• Attending customer sites and conducting proactive and reactive maintenance and repairs on a variety of commercial and industrial door systems, such as Automatic Doors, Gates, Roller Shutters and high-speed doors

• Diagnosing and troubleshooting issues, and implementing effective solutions in a timely manner

• Performing scheduled servicing and inspections to optimise the performance and lifespan of clients onsite assets

• Maintaining detailed records and documentation of all work undertaken

• Collaborating with the wider Briter team to ensure a coordinated and efficient service delivery

• Working in accordance to all relevant health, safety, environmental regulations and company policies

What we're looking for:

• Professional and Friendly attitude.

• Experience in commercial work such as sensors, motors, VSD and PCBs.

• Hold a valid NSW driver's license driving manual vehicles.

• Preferably, hold licenses for forklift operation, working at heights, and Elevated Work Platforms (EWP).

• Proficient in utilizing various power tools, including grinders, welders, and electric drills.

• Adept at pinpointing and troubleshooting faults effectively.

• Demonstrated record of reliable attendance and punctuality.

• A strong commitment to presenting oneself and workmanship.

• Good written and verbal communication skills.

• Thorough understanding of and adherence to Workplace Health & Safety protocols.

• Resilience in high-pressure situations and adaptability to changes.

• Self-motivated with the capability to work autonomously and collaboratively within a team.

• Availability for regular overtime and participation in an after-hours "on-call" rotation, including weekends.

• Clearance of criminal checks for high-security sites.
