We are partnering with a major Tier 2 infrastructure and engineering contractor to secure an experienced

Bid Writer specialising in the Defence sector for an immediate 2-month contract engagement.

Based in Adelaide (with flexibility for interstate candidates who can travel onsite as required), this role will drive high-stakes proposal writing, technical volume coordination, and capability statements for major defense, maritime, and secure infrastructure tenders.

• Defence Proposal Writing: Craft compelling, compliant, and technically rigorous bid responses, executive summaries, and capability statements for major Defence procurement opportunities.
• Content Development: Translate complex technical engineering, maritime, and defense logistics requirements into clear, persuasive customer-focused win themes.
• Compliance & Governance: Ensure all submissions strictly meet Commonwealth procurement guidelines, ASDEFCON frameworks, and client security standards.
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Coordinate input from subject matter experts, engineers, and operational leadership under tight submission deadlines.

We are seeking a seasoned bid writer with verifiable experience within the Australian defence and secure infrastructure sectors.

• Essential: Proven track record in writing and coordinating bids for major Defence, maritime, or secure government projects.
• Essential Security Clearance: Active Australian Defence Security Clearance (e.g., NV1) is mandatory for this engagement.
• Skills: Superior written English communication, meticulous attention to detail, and the ability to synthesize complex technical data quickly.
• Availability: Immediate availability to commence.
