Auscoast Builders is a leading building company specialising in large-loss insurance roofing repairs, predominantly focusing on storm damage to metal roofs.

We work directly with homeowners, managing the repair process from contract through to completion, coordinating our network of trades and working directly with the customer to deliver a quality outcome. 

We're looking for an in-house Paralegal to join our Team. You'll work alongside our In-House Solicitor in helping resolve contractual disputes, prepare building contracts, and protect the business through strong legal support.

The Role:

• Supporting our in-house Solicitor with managing contractual and dispute resolution matters

• Drafting persuasive, legally sound correspondence in response to customer complaints, contractual disputes, and escalated legal matters

• Researching case law, legislation, residential and commercial building requirements, and dispute precedents

• Compiling Building Contracts (including HIA and Master Builders contracts) for authorised repairs. 

• Assisting with QBCC complaints and dispute matters, including preparing correspondence, collating evidence and supporting documentation.

• Support ongoing correspondence and updates to Insureds, Insurance Companies and Loss Adjusters.

• Resolving enquiries that may arise throughout the claim & build process.

• Liaise with Site Supervisors and internal stakeholders to gather evidence and supporting materials required for disputes.
