Occupational Therapist — In-Home Care | Sutherland Shire (Full-Time or Part-Time)

We're looking for an occupational therapist to care for older adults in the comfort of their own homes across Miranda and the surrounding Sutherland Shire.

This isn't a clinic where you churn through a waiting room. You'll see people in their own living rooms, work out what's actually stopping them living the way they want to, and put the right supports in place to keep them safe and independent at home. Full-time or part-time both work here, so whether you want a full week or a couple of days that fit around the rest of your life, we can build the role around you. There's genuine room to grow this one as your caseload builds.

What your week looks like

You'll manage your own caseload of home visits across the Shire: functional assessments, home modification recommendations, falls prevention, equipment prescription, and daily living support for clients who mostly sit in the aged care and community space. You set the pace with your clients, write your reports, and get the clinical autonomy to actually do the job the way you know it should be done. No two homes are the same, and that's the best part of it.

What we're after

• AHPRA registration (or eligibility for it)
• Confidence across functional assessments, home mods, equipment prescription and falls prevention
• A driver's licence and your own reliable vehicle
• Community or aged care experience is highly desirable, though not essential if the rest is there
• Someone who's warm with older clients and comfortable working on their own out in the community
