About the role
The Placement Lead is responsible for identifying, confirming and administering student placement activities across a range of host facilities on behalf of the school’s students, ensuring the placement process is efficient and managed in accordance with course requirements.
Placements are coordinated in accordance with student timetables, host facility availability, host facility agreements, and placement management administration systems.
Key responsibilities:
· Plan, coordinate and secure clinical placements for the school’s students as per the master timetables.
· Use of internal and external systems and resources to secure clinical placement opportunities.
· Build strong professional relationships with industry partners, government agencies and other relevant stakeholders to secure appropriate practical and clinical placement opportunities.
· Maintain a working knowledge of placement related policies, systems, procedures and strategies in relation to practical and clinical placement.
· Obtain and collate documentation from students and partner organisations to support the placement process and meet industry and regulatory standards.
· Implement and manage disciplinary procedures where necessary to obtain student information for the purpose of student placement compliance and student eligibility for placement, within designated timeframes outlined by student timetable.
· Engage with industry partners and manage placement risk assessment for host facilities.
· Work with the Education Manager, Course Coordinator, Educators and Finance team to ensure student eligibility for clinical and practical placements.
· Collaborate with colleagues to identify and refine business processes and systems to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the school’s placement processes.
· Provide excellent service and communication to students, partner organisations and host facilities, throughout the placement process.
· Ensure accurate data is maintained to support timely reporting of activity to internal and external stakeholders.
· Provide clear communication with students in a timely and professional manner.

Pay: $61,000.00 – $66,000.00 per year
