Production / Warehouse Team Member

Canine Country Pet Food is a locally owned, independent manufacturing company with big ambitions in the fast growing raw pet food industry!  Established over 15 years, Canine Country Pet Food supplies independent pet stores and vet clinics across QLD. We are a dedicated, hard working team based in a modern production facility in Yatala.   

About the Role 

To support business growth, the production team requires an extra operator to ensure we meet daily production deadlines.  This is a fast paced role working within a small, friendly team. 

This is a casual role M-F, 6am-2pm. 

Key responsibilities including 

• Operating production machinery

• Preparing labels and packaging to meet daily production schedule 

• Handling and weighing raw meat, bones and vegetable ingredients (no cooking smells!)

• Moving stock through refrigerated workspaces 

• Forklift operations, loading and unloading delivery trucks

• Following recipes and work instructions

About You

With proven experience in a fast paced work environment you enjoy working in a small supportive team and can pivot between tasks as directed.  You enjoy learning new skills in a safe, organised workplace, want to work and are available for an immediate start.   

To be successful, you will have:

• 1+ years experience working in a fast paced environment

• Current driver's licence is essential

• Current Forklift licence is essential with 2+ years experience

• Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team

• Good written and verbal communication 

• Positive, can-do attitude

• Record of reliable attendance
