About the Role

GIG Radiology Pty Ltd is currently seeking an experienced and motivated Sonographer to join our dedicated team in Traralgon, Victoria. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled professional to be part of a respected healthcare provider in the La Trobe Valley.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of ultrasound examinations, including:

  • General

  • Musculoskeletal

  • Vascular

  • Obstetric

• Accurately capture and interpret ultrasound images to assist with clinical diagnosis and treatment.

• Maintain comprehensive patient records and documentation in line with company policies and regulatory standards.

• Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality, patient-centred care.

• Ensure ultrasound equipment is properly maintained.

• Follow all health and safety protocols to maintain a safe and compliant work environment.

About You

To succeed in this role, you will have:

• A tertiary qualification in Medical Sonography.

• Minimum of 2 years’ experience as a qualified Sonographer in a healthcare setting.

• High-level technical skills across a broad range of ultrasound procedures.

• Strong diagnostic and analytical abilities to accurately transcribe worksheets.

• Excellent communication skills to liaise with patients, radiologists, and team members.

• A commitment to delivering outstanding patient care and maintaining professional standards.

• Flexibility and a proactive attitude to adapt to clinical demands.
