Administration Support Officer

This recruitment forms part of PYDHS's succession planning strategy and will be used to establish a suitability pool for Administration Support Officer temporary backfill opportunities that may arise over the next 12 months.

The Administration Support Officer provides administrative and operational support to PYDHS, contributing to the delivery of safe, effective, and efficient healthcare services within custodial settings. The role supports workforce administration processes, general administrative functions, and governance supporting functions, working closely with the Senior Administration Officer (AO4), Nursing Leadership, and service managers.

About the role

The Administration Support Officer provides administrative and operational support to Prison and Youth Detention Health Services (PYDHS) to assist the service in delivering effective and efficient healthcare within custodial environments.

The role supports workforce administration processes, general administrative activities and governance support functions, working closely with the Administration Officer (AO4), Nursing leadership and other service managers.
