ESR Bespoke is a specialist prestige collision repairer working with some of the world’s leading luxury and performance vehicle brands. With our continued growth across our workshop operations, we are looking for an experienced Production Manager / Workshop Controller to take responsibility for the day-to-day production and workflow of our workshop.

The Role

Reporting directly to senior management, you will oversee the complete production process from vehicle arrival through to final quality control and delivery.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Managing and controlling daily workshop production and workflow

• Planning jobs and allocating work across panel beaters, painters, technicians and other trades

• Monitoring job progress and ensuring vehicles remain on schedule

• Managing production targets, KPIs and workshop efficiency

• Maintaining strong communication between the estimators, parts interpreters and management to resolve delays and issues

• Identifying bottlenecks and implementing solutions to improve workflow

• Ensuring repairs are completed to the highest possible standard

• Conducting regular quality checks throughout the repair process

• Monitoring repair times and ensuring vehicles are progressing according to agreed timelines

• Supporting and mentoring workshop staff

• Maintaining a clean, organised and professional workshop environment

• Assisting with continuous improvement across workshop systems and processes

What We're Looking For

We are looking for someone who has strong leadership skills, excellent organisational ability and genuine experience within the automotive industry.

You will ideally have:

• Previous experience as a Production Manager, Workshop Controller, Workshop Foreman or Senior Technician

• Strong knowledge of collision repair processes

• Excellent planning and time-management skills

• The ability to prioritise multiple vehicles and completion deadlines

• Strong communication and problem-solving skills

• A high level of attention to detail

• The ability to maintain a positive team culture

• A strong understanding of quality control and repair standards

• Experience with workshop management systems such as iBodyshop or similar will be highly regarded

• A current driver's licence

Prestige Experience Is Highly Regarded

Experience working with Porsche, BMW, Mercedes-Benz, Audi or other European prestige vehicles will be highly regarded, although it is not essential.
