We are looking for a qualified and experienced Dental Assistant/Receptionist to join our busy, patient-focused dental practice in beautiful Taree.

This is a full-time, Monday to Friday position with no weekend work, offering an excellent opportunity to become part of a supportive, professional team committed to providing high-quality dental care in a welcoming environment.

About the Role

As an important member of our team, you will be responsible for both clinical assisting and front reception duties, including:

• Chairside assistance for a variety of dental procedures

• Preparing treatment rooms and ensuring efficient workflow

• Cleaning, sterilising, and maintaining instruments in accordance with current infection control standards

• Welcoming patients and providing exceptional customer service

• Managing appointment scheduling and patient enquiries

• Processing payments and health fund claims

• Maintaining accurate patient records

• Supporting the dentists and team to ensure the smooth day-to-day operation of the practice

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• Certificate III or IV in Dental Assisting or equivalent

• Previous experience as a Dental Assistant and Dental Receptionist

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• A professional, caring, and positive attitude

• Strong organisational and time management skills

• The ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team

• A high standard of infection control knowledge and clinical presentation

• Experience with dental practice software (CareStack, Dental4Windows, EXACT, Core Practice or similar) is highly regarded

• Current CPR certification is desirable
