• Conduct thorough safety checks of indoor/outdoor environments and resources before activities
• Administer first aid when required and follow health management plans for children with additional needs
Family & Community Engagement:
• Build trusting relationships with families through daily conversations and formal progress updates
• Collaborate with room leaders to create displays that make children's learning visible to parents
• Participate in community events and centre initiatives that strengthen family connections
Compliance & Professionalism:
• Maintain current working with children check - first aid certification and relevant qualifications
• Contribute to quality improvement processes through reflective practice
• Attend staff meetings and professional development sessions to enhance practice
Skills & Requirements:
• Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education & Care (or ACECQA-approved equivalent)
• Proven 1-year minimum experience in long day care or similar setting.
• Demonstrated knowledge of EYLF and National Quality Standards
• Genuine passion for early childhood development with endless patience and creativity
• Current First Aid, Asthma & Anaphylaxis certificates as well as proof of vaccination
• Working with children rights
• Police check
• Strong communication skills to engage with children, colleagues and families

• Paid professional development opportunities
• Supportive leadership team with realistic expectations
• Purpose-built facilities with quality resources
If you're ready to make your mark in early childhood education with an organisation that values your expertise, we'd love to hear from you.
