Senior Waiter/Waitress

About the role

A hands-on floor role for someone who genuinely enjoys hospitality, has strong wine knowledge and is comfortable working behind the bar when required. You will be responsible for delivering excellent service, making thoughtful wine recommendations, assisting with food and wine matching, and ensuring guests feel looked after.

Key responsibilities

• Provide strong restaurant floor service and excellent table-service skills

• Discuss wines with guests and make thoughtful wine recommendations

• Work behind the bar when required, including cocktails, spirits, beer and general bar service

• Deliver warm, confident and engaging service to guests

• Work calmly and professionally during busy service

• Demonstrate good product knowledge and maintain an interest in continually learning

About you

• Strong restaurant floor experience and excellent table-service skills

• A genuine interest in wine and the confidence to discuss wines with guests

• Solid bar experience, including cocktails, spirits, beer and general bar service

• A warm, confident and engaging manner with guests

• Good product knowledge and an interest in continually learning

• The ability to work calmly and professionally during busy service

• Current NSW RSA

• Experience in a quality restaurant, wine bar, cocktail bar or similar venue
