The agency supports the NSW Trustee, the Public Guardian and the Commissioner of Dormant Funds to carry out their statutory functions. We do this by providing a range of customer-centred services, including Will-making, trustee, financial management and guardianship services, including some for the state’s most vulnerable people.

About the team
The Estate Planning and Administration division is responsible for delivering NSW Trustee and Guardian’s commercial services in Will making, as trustee, attorney, and as administrator/executor of deceased estates.
The teams administer assets in accordance with the functions and obligations under the relevant legislation and makes legal decisions within legal frameworks and NSWTG’s prescribed delegations. The division delivers high quality service using a customer-centred approach and is delivered by:
About the role
NSW Trustee and Guardian are looking for empathetic, organised and detail-focused Client Service Officers to support customers, beneficiaries and families through estate and trust administration.
In this role, you’ll manage a portfolio of matters, work with legal, taxation, property and financial specialists, and help deliver timely, respectful and customer-centred outcomes.
Trust Administration:
Make a meaningful difference by managing trust matters with accuracy, empathy and care. As a Client Service Officer in Trust Administration, you will support beneficiaries and stakeholders while ensuring each matter is administered efficiently and in line with NSWTG’s responsibilities.
You will manage a portfolio of 40–70 trusts, contribute to 6,000 pooled matters and build trusted relationships through clear, professional and compassionate communication.

Deceased Estate Administration:
Make a meaningful difference by guiding deceased estates through each stage with care, accuracy and professionalism.
