Join our team as a Domestic at Karri & Tuart Lodge and Vivian Bullwinkel Lodge in Merriwa, and help create a warm, welcoming and home-like environment for our residents.

Working across kitchen, servery, cleaning and laundry services, you will collaborate closely with hospitality and clinical teams to ensure residents receive high-quality service and care. Our Domestic team members typically commence in one area and are cross-trained across all service areas, providing flexibility and variety in the role while supporting team needs.

As a Domestic team member, you will:

• Perform food handling duties in line with FoodSafe hygiene standards
• Assist with meal service, drinks and snacks while supporting resident choice
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness across the facility
• Complete cleaning schedules and documentation
• Manage laundry duties, including collecting, washing, folding and returning linen
• Ensure workspaces and equipment are clean, safe and well maintained
• Communicate effectively with residents and teams
• Contribute to a safe environment by reporting hazards and incidents
• Support a warm, home-like environment for residents

• Previous experience in hospitality, cleaning, or similar environments
• Ability to work both independently and within a team
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Compassionate, with a genuine interest in supporting older people
• Good time management and organisational skills
• Positive attitude and ability to build relationships with residents and colleagues
