Key responsibilities include:

• Providing holistic patient care within the Transport Service.
• Promoting the development of therapeutic relationships with the aim of facilitating the patient’s external medical appointments/procedures in a safe and timely manner.
• Supporting the objectives and philosophy of the Nursing Service.
• Contributing to the client’s completion of external medical appointments/procedures in accordance with Royal Rehab’s vision, purpose and values.

Essential Criteria:  

• Suitable qualifications for the level of applicant.
• Suitable knowledge & experience in rehabilitation.
• Demonstrated effective clinical communication using information technology and written, verbal and interpersonal skills.
• Commitment to quality improvement, practice development and evidence-based practice.
• Must have flexible availability and be able to work varied hours.
