ELMO is looking for a dedicated Payroll UAT Specialist to join our Services team. In this role, you will play a critical part in ensuring the accuracy and reliability of our award builds. You will bridge the gap between technical configuration and real-world payroll outcomes, ensuring our solutions perform exactly as intended for our customers.
What you’ll be doingDrive User Acceptance Testing (UAT): Perform SME-led testing for Rotageek award builds across a variety of Australian modern awards.Validate Outcomes: Confirm payroll accuracy across ordinary hours, penalty rates, overtime, allowances, classifications, and minimum engagement rules.Defect Management: Identify, investigate, and clearly document calculation discrepancies and configuration gaps.Collaborate: Partner with our Solution Architect and internal subject matter experts to ensure testing continuity and smooth award delivery.Build Expertise: Help create reusable testing discipline and knowledge to support our future scaling.
What you bringProven Experience: A background in payroll processing, implementation, consulting, or support.Payroll Knowledge: A strong understanding of Australian payroll concepts and modern award interpretation.Technical Aptitude: Experience with UAT, system integration testing, or payroll parallel testing. Experience with Rotageek or Employment Hero Payroll is a plus.Analytical Mindset: Ability to execute structured test scenarios and communicate findings clearly.Collaborative Spirit: Comfortable working independently while maintaining strong relationships with product and technical stakeholders.
