Chef de Partie or Pizza Chef

Lalla Rookh Bar & Eating house is looking for an experienced Chef de Partie or Pizza Chef to join the team.

We are looking for qualified chef with at least 3 years experience in a premium, high volume al a carte setting. The successful applicant will need to demonstrate experience across a range of sections in a busy kitchen

Responsibilities • Preparation of food items within a section of the kitchen • Stock level of menu items with in the section and reporting any low item counts to the Head Chef • Supervision of chefs within that section and the kitchen as a whole Main Duties • Preparation of all items required within the assigned section • Preparation and cooking of meats, vegetables and pastries. • Time Management • Stock rotation • Compliance with health regulations. • Supervision of chefs in completing these duties within their assigned section. Qualification • Minimum three years experience demonstrating skills required in commercial cookery or a diploma in commercial cookery Essential Skills • Basic knife skills • Cutting of vegetables • Basic butchery • Proficiency in the 5 basic methods of cooking Employment Experience • Minimum three years experience in the running of a section within a commercial kitchen.
