Join our team as a Christmas Casual across our SEQ depots!

Love staying active, meeting new people, and working in a fast-paced environment? We’d love to hear from you. At TOMRA, every day is different, and we’re looking for friendly, reliable team members who are ready to get involved and make a difference.

As a Christmas Casual, you'll play an important role in keeping our depot running smoothly during our busiest time of year. You'll welcome customers, assist them with recycling their containers, help them use our reverse vending machines, and create a positive experience every time they visit. You'll also help maintain a clean, safe, and well-presented site for both customers and your teammates.

We're looking for people who enjoy helping others, can work confidently on their own, and bring a positive attitude to the team. If you like being on your feet, enjoy connecting with your local community, and want to contribute to a cleaner environment, you'll fit right in at TOMRA.

Christmas Casual Details

Commencement date from November 2026 until Early Feb 2027You must have full availability between those datesAs a casual, you will be expected to work a mixture of weekdays and weekends, including morning/afternoon shifts & public holidaysHours available across our site in Ipswich, Seventeen Mile Rocks, Salisbury, Geebung and CrestmeadPay rate for adults is at level 2 of the Waste Management Award, base $30.75 + 25% casual loading / relevant penalty rates for weekendsFederal police check, pre-employment medical (including drug and alcohol screen) and reference checks are part of the background process for employment.

Qualifications

To be a successful Recycling Centre Attendant you will

-Have a passion for recycling and the environment

-Have a keen eye for detail and a motivation to maintain a clean work environment

-Be a safety champion, everyone deserves to return home safely!

-Have experience in face-to-face customer service

-Be physically fit, some manual lifting will be required
