Trade Waiter – Cathedral Lodge & Golf Club

Full-Time | $80,000 + Super | Thornton, VIC

Cathedral Lodge & Golf Club is seeking an experienced and polished Trade Waiter to join our hospitality team at one of Australia’s most exclusive private golf destinations.

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced hospitality professional who takes genuine pride in exceptional service, attention to detail and creating memorable experiences for members and guests.

About the Role

Working across our clubhouse, dining and private event operations, you will play an important role in delivering the high standard of hospitality Cathedral is known for.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Providing professional food and beverage service to members and guests
• Delivering polished table and restaurant service
• Providing knowledgeable wine and beverage service
• Preparing and maintaining dining and service areas to an exceptional standard
• Developing strong knowledge of menus, beverages and service standards
• Anticipating guest needs and providing warm, personalised service
• Assisting with functions, events and special dining experiences
• Working closely with our kitchen and hospitality teams to ensure seamless service
• Maintaining Cathedral's presentation, grooming and service standards at all times

Previous Experience

To be successful in this role, you will ideally have:

• Minimum 2–3 years' experience in a waiter or food and beverage role or a Cert II in Hospitality
• Previous experience in a premium restaurant, hotel, private club, golf club or fine-dining environment highly regarded
• Demonstrated experience providing professional table service
• Strong food, wine and beverage knowledge
• Experience delivering high-quality, personalised guest service
• Confidence working across restaurant service, functions and events
• Experience working within established service standards and procedures
• The ability to work efficiently and professionally in a fast-paced hospitality environment
• Current Victorian RSA
