Precast Forman with Concrete, Formwork or Welding Experience

Precast Concrete Foreman – Immediate Start | Eagle Farm, QLD

Access Covers Australia Pty Ltd is seeking an experienced and motivated Foreman to lead our precast concreting team at our new Queensland facility in Eagle Farm.

This is a hands-on leadership role suited to someone with strong experience in concrete production, formwork, welding, and steel reinforcement who can effectively manage daily operations, lead by example, and maintain high standards of safety, quality, and productivity.

Hours:

• Monday to Friday, 6:00am – 2:00pm

• Overtime and weekend work available

• Full-time position

The Role:

Key duties and responsibilities include:

• Supervising and coordinating daily factory operations and production activities

• Leading and mentoring production staff

• Ensuring compliance with workplace health and safety requirements

• Planning and coordinating concrete pours and production schedules

• Reading and interpreting shop drawings and production plans

• Supervising formwork preparation, concrete placement, finishing, and repairs

• Overseeing the manufacture and assembly of steel reinforcement cages

• Welding and fabrication work as required

• Maintaining quality control standards and QA requirements

• Managing materials, equipment, and workflow efficiency

• Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised work environment

About You:

To be successful in this role, you will possess:

• Proven experience as a Foreman, Leading Hand, or Supervisor within precast concrete, construction, or manufacturing environments

• Strong hands-on experience with concrete, formwork, and welding

• Experience manufacturing and assembling steel reinforcement cages

• Ability to read and interpret technical and shop drawings

• Strong leadership and communication skills

• Commitment to workplace safety and quality standards

• Ability to work independently and manage a team effectively

• Current Driver's Licence

Highly Regarded but Not Essential:

• Forklift Licence

• Overhead Crane Licence

• Dogging and Rigging experience

• Precast concrete manufacturing experience
