Trade Qualified Sheetmetal Worker

The Opportunity
Brisbane Stainless is looking to hire a Trade Qualified Sheet Metal Worker to join our team in Wakerley, QLD. This is a full-time position that offers the opportunity to work for a leading provider of stainless steel fabrication and installation of commercial and domestic kitchens, restaurants, bars and cafes.

Key Responsibilities: 

• Fabricate various stainless steel items, namely stainless steel benches, sinks, exhaust hoods and custom projects

• Assist with installation of stainless steel items as required

• Ensure all work is completed to the highest quality standards

What We're Looking For

• Formal trade qualification in sheet metal

• Demonstrated experience in stainless steel fabrication and welding (TIG), namely benches, sinks & exhaust hoods

• Demonstrated experience in reading and interpreting technical drawings

• Proficient in the use of hand & power tools required for sheet metal work and operating machinery & equipment

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality

• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team

• Good communication and problem-solving skills

• Maintain a safe and organised work environment

• Collaborate with the wider team to meet project deadlines and requirements

• Drivers Licence 

Job Details:

• Hours: Mon to Thu 6am - 2pm, Fri 6am - 12pm (38 hrs per week) with option to work overtime

• Located in Waklerey (near Tingalpa), Qld
