4 days per week Dental Assistant

We're seeking an experienced, reliable, long term dental assistant to work 3-4 days per week as part of our team (about 35 hours per week).

With four experienced Dentists and two Hygienists, we cover all aspects of modern, preventative and restorative dentistry.

We are conveniently located in a medical center at 1304 Samford Road, close to the Ferny Grove railway station. We are members of the Australian Dental Association and have been fully accredited.

About the role:

The position is available for an all-rounder dental assistant which will include the following.

-Assist dentist in clinical treatment

-Prepare treatment rooms for daily procedures

-Sterilising and following the guidelines of all infection control protocols

-Reception duties, answering phone, processing accounts

-Good Computer skills

Skills and experience

We are seeking an energetic and friendly team member, with a minimum of 2 years experience in the role, and can show the following personality traits and characteristics:

-People management skills, the ability to interact with patients and fellow team members

-Demonstrates accuracy and has a good eye for detail

-The ability to work in a team environment and show initiative

-Is able to work in a fast paced and busy environment

-Follow workplace health and safety protocols

-Flexibility to cope with changes in the practice quickly

-Show compassion, be genuine and caring towards patients and the team

-Be committed and demonstrate you have a great work ethic  

No weekends or late nights required. Offering 3-4 days per week.
