Chef

Key Duties

• Preparing and cooking authentic Bhutanese dishes

• Planning and assisting with menu development

• Checking and maintaining the quality and freshness of ingredients

• Managing food preparation, portioning and presentation

• Maintaining kitchen hygiene and food-safety standards

• Assisting with ordering and stock control

• Supporting the smooth day-to-day operation of the kitchen

Key Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of experience preparing authentic Bhutanese cuisine

• Experience working in a commercial kitchen

• Strong knowledge of traditional Bhutanese dishes, ingredients and cooking techniques

• Ability to prepare, cook and present dishes consistently to restaurant standards

• Ability to work independently and as part of a busy kitchen team

• Good understanding of food safety, hygiene and kitchen procedures

The role is suitable for a chef who has genuine hands-on experience with Bhutanese cuisine and is interested in joining an established hospitality business in the heart of Northbridge.
