Project Delivery Lead

As we continue to invest in our lending platforms and technology landscape, we are looking for an experienced Project Delivery Lead to drive a significant transformation programme that will shape the future of our lending operations.

This is an opportunity to take ownership of complex, business critical initiatives, working closely with senior leaders, technology teams, and external partners. You will play a key role in delivering future state lending solutions that support growth, efficiency, and an improved customer experience across both markets.

The role

This role sits at the centre of a major lending platform transformation. Working with New Zealand and Australia, you will lead the delivery of initiatives involving loan origination and loan management systems within Australia, helping to bring together existing processes, platforms, and operating models into a streamlined future state environment.

You will engage with stakeholders at all levels of the business, providing leadership, structure, and direction throughout the delivery lifecycle. This is a role for someone who is comfortable navigating complexity, influencing senior decision makers, and driving outcomes in a fast paced environment.

What you'll do

• Lead the delivery of strategic lending and technology initiatives from discovery through to implementation
• Drive lending platform transformation projects across Australia
• Work closely with business and technology teams to ensure successful delivery outcomes
• Review and understand current lending processes, systems, and operating models
• Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, consistency, and scalability across lending operations
• Manage project scope, risks, dependencies, timelines, and stakeholder engagement
• Partner with vendors and internal teams to support system implementation and adoption
• Lead workshops and discussions to align stakeholders and build consensus around solutions
• Provide clear reporting and governance updates to senior leaders
• Support the transition from legacy platforms into future state lending systems

What we're looking for

• Proven experience delivering projects within financial services, lending, banking, or consumer finance environments
• Strong knowledge of loan origination systems and loan management platforms
• Experience delivering platform implementation, transformation, or migration initiatives
• Solid understanding of the end to end lending lifecycle
• Ability to engage, influence, and challenge senior stakeholders when required
• Strong project delivery experience within complex business environments
• Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills
• Comfortable working across both business and technology teams
• Experience within automotive finance would be advantageous, although not essential
