Apprentice Plumber - 1st or 2nd Year

About the role

Griffo's Plumbing & Excavation Pty Ltd is looking for a reliable and motivated 1st or 2nd Year Apprentice Plumber to join our team.

We are a family-owned business specialising in new residential construction throughout the Moreton Bay region.

You’ll work alongside experienced tradespeople, gaining valuable hands-on experience across all stages of residential plumbing. We’re committed to helping you develop strong practical skills, build your confidence and become a skilled plumber.

We’re looking for someone with a great attitude, a strong work ethic and a genuine willingness to learn and grow within the trade.

Key responsibilities

• Working alongside qualified plumbers on new residential construction projects

• Assisting with all stages of new home plumbing, including underground drainage, rough-ins and fit-offs

• Installing pipework, fixtures and fittings

• Learning to read and understand plans and specifications as your skills develop

• Following safe work practices and maintaining a clean and organised worksite

• Maintaining equipement and tools

About you

• Currently completing your 1st or 2nd year Plumbing Apprenticeship

• A genuine interest in new residential construction

• Current White Card

• Current driver’s licence and reliable transport

• Reliable, punctual and ready to work

• A positive attitude and genuine willingness to learn

• Able to work well as part of a team and follow instructions

• Takes pride in their work and is keen to develop their skills in the trade
