Greencross Punchbowl is a thriving small animal clinic with a loyal client base and a reputation for delivering high-quality veterinary care.

We primarily care for dogs and cats, along with the occasional pocket pet, and see a varied caseload that provides exposure to a broad range of medical, surgical, and dental cases.

About the Role

As a Veterinary Nurse, you'll be involved in all aspects of patient care and clinic operations.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Assisting veterinarians during consultations, diagnostics, treatments, and procedures
• Surgical preparation and theatre assistance
• Monitoring anaesthesia and supporting patient recovery
• Medical nursing and hospital patient care
• Collecting pathology samples and performing diagnostic testing
• Administering medications and treatments
• Dental nursing and dental radiography assistance
• Client communication and education
• Maintaining accurate patient records
• Supporting the delivery of exceptional patient care
• Contributing to a positive and efficient clinic environment

You'll work on a rotating roster, including shared weekend shifts, allowing exposure to a wide variety of nursing duties and clinical experiences.

About You

We're looking for someone who:

• Holds a Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing (or equivalent qualification)
• Has previous clinical veterinary nursing experience (1+ years preferred)
• Is confident across both medical and surgical nursing
• Has strong anaesthetic monitoring skills
• Demonstrates excellent attention to detail
• Can effectively prioritise and manage competing tasks
• Is reliable, accountable, and professional
• Works well both independently and within a team
• Has excellent communication and customer service skills
• Builds rapport easily with clients and colleagues
• Is passionate about animal welfare and patient advocacy
