Ballarat Full-Time or Casual Truck Driver

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Full Time or Casual HR Driver/Storeperson to deliver agricultural supplies such as chemical and fertiliser in Ballarat and the surrounding areas. You are a driver who demonstrates professionalism, a good approach with customers and bring a flexible attitude to your work. 

In this role you can expect to undertake the following duties:

• Safely operate your vehicle in a responsible, professional and efficient manner.

• Pickup and delivery of various products and services as assigned.

• Assist with processing and packing customer orders.

• Unloading any incoming deliveries and maintaining cleanliness in the warehouse.

• Conducting routine checks on vehicles and ensure they are well-maintained.

• Loading and unloading cargo ensuring safe and secured transit.

• Following driving laws and regulations to maintain safety on the road.

• Maintaining and updating logs of vehicle operation, performed services and repairs.

• Implementing standard operating procedure for emergency situations.

• Completing relevant paperwork related to the transport and delivery of goods.

About You

You will bring to the role the following:

• A current HR License is mandatory.

•  Forklift license and some machinery experience is preferred.

• Experience in rural product knowledge is advantageous, but not essential.

• A flexible and personable approach to work with a strong safety mindset.

• The ability to follow instructions and work as part of a close team, and autonomously when required.

In addition, you must be willing to provide a full driving history and undertake medical fitness assessment prior to any offer of employment being made.
