Rental Safety Inspections is a growing Melbourne-based company specializing in residential rental compliance and safety inspections across Victoria.

We are looking for a reliable and motivated A-Grade Electrician to join our team, predominantly completing electrical safety checks under the Victorian Residential Tenancies Regulations, along with residential maintenance and repair work.

This is a great opportunity for an electrician wanting consistent work, independence, and a better work-life balance away from large commercial construction sites.

About the Role

Your day-to-day work will include:

• Residential electrical safety inspections

• Testing and reporting in accordance with AS/NZS 3019

• Minor and general electrical repairs

• Fault finding and rectification works

• Smoke alarm inspections and replacements

• Working closely with property managers, landlords, and tenants

• Managing your own schedule and jobs independently

Most of the work is inspection-based, with additional repair work completed throughout the day.

What We’re Looking For

• Current A-Grade Electrical Licence

• Current driver’s licence

• Must be confident driving a manual vehicle

• Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills

• Good communication and customer service

• Ability to work independently and stay organised

• Residential maintenance experience highly regarded
