Trade Assistant

We are seeking a Trade Assistant to join our Maintenance Team. Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisors, you will work closely with maintenance crews throughout Wespine.  

This is offered on a full-time position working an 8/6 roster, averaging 45 hours per week.

About the Role

Your responsibilities will include:

• Assisting tradespeople with maintenance activities

• Performing preventative maintenance, including general equipment greasing

• Identifying safety hazards and opportunities for improvement

• Other duties as directed these may include cleaning, painting, construction, logistics services and administrative duties

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• Previous experience in a TA role in an industrial environment (desirable)

• Mechanical Aptitude

• A strong commitment to safety

• Ability to work as part of a team

• Attention to detail and accuracy

• Basic computer skills
