Applicants can expect to join a business dedicated to quality, personalization, and customer satisfaction.Role Description The Master Watchmaker will perform full-service maintenance, repair, and restoration of a variety of watches and clocks, ensuring that each piece meets stringent performance and aesthetic standards. Day-to-day responsibilities include diagnosing mechanical issues, disassembling and reassembling movements, regulating timekeeping, replacing components, and conducting thorough quality checks. The role also involves maintaining a clean and organized workshop, documenting work performed, and occasionally consulting with team members or clients on technical matters. This is a full-time, on-site role based at DLUX JEWELLERS in Randwick, NSW.Qualifications Strong proficiency in watch repair and servicing of mechanical and quartz watches.Experience working with clocks, including diagnosis, repair, and adjustment of clock mechanisms.Demonstrated skills in quality control, with a focus on precision, consistency, and adherence to brand standards.High level of accuracy in all technical tasks, including small-part handling, assembly, and calibration.Formal training or certification in watchmaking or horology, or equivalent professional experience.Ability to read technical diagrams and service manuals, and use specialized watchmaking tools and equipment safely.Strong problem-solving skills, time management, and the ability to work independently in a workshop environment.Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining the integrity and value of luxury timepieces.
