The Opportunity

We are looking for a Roof Plumbing Tradesman with a passion for high-standard roofing and an eye for detail. You'll work alongside a close-knit team on diverse commercial, government, and heritage sites. Whether you’re maintaining iconic stadium roofs or restoring historical architecture, every day brings fresh challenges and rewards.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out installation, roof maintenance, and repairs on metal roofing systems.

• Well versed in all aspects of roofing products

• Interpret and work from detailed site drawings and specs.

• Manage material orders and site deliveries to meet project deadlines.

• Adhere strictly to Work Health & Safety regulations, including working at heights.

• Conduct audits and document progress through photographic reporting.

• Coordinate with other trades and uphold Goodwin Brothers’ reputation for quality and professionalism.

What We’re Looking For

• Proven experience in roofing maintenance & Projects (minimum 5 years preferred).

• Cert III in Roof Plumbing

• Strong understanding of Australian Standards and WHS practices.

• Confident working independently and as part of a crew.

• Manual driver’s licence & reliable vehicle.

• White Card & Working at Heights certification.

• EWP and First Aid tickets (or willingness to obtain).

• Strong communication skills and a problem-solving attitude.

• Ability to work on Government and school sites (police check and WWCC required).

• Australian citizenship (preferred for Government site access).
