Field Maintenance Representative - Adelaide northern suburbs SA

About the role

The Field Maintenance Representative is responsible for servicing and maintaining Britex and Rug Doctor hire equipment across an assigned SA territory in Adelaide northern suburbs and country SA north. The role ensures optimal equipment performance, strong in-store presentation, and high levels of customer satisfaction, while supporting territory growth and operational efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Service, repair, and maintain hire equipment in allocated stores using a company vehicle

• Conduct Test & Tag (PAT testing) every 6 months and accurately record results

• Manage machine movements, warranty claims, and escalated technical issues

• Complete store visits in line with agreed call cycles and KPI targets

• Maintain clean, fully stocked, and compliant POS displays and equipment stands

• Build and maintain strong relationships with store staff and key stakeholders

• Identify and secure new store opportunities within the territory

• Capture store visit data (including photos) via company iPad

• Complete monthly reporting accurately and on time

• Manage parts, product, and POS ordering through Jotform app

Experience required

• Field experience would be good but not mandatory

• Problem-solving skills

• Previous experience maintaining household equipment would assist with this role but handyman skills would be advantageous

• Self-starter, fit and ready to work hard, and to learn about the industry

• Exceptional communication skills with a customer service focus

• Full Australian driving licence

• National Police certificate

• Computer skills essential as using an iPad daily

• Pre-employment medical check will be required.
