TIFA Support Services is looking for reliable and hardworking cleaners to provide high-quality domestic cleaning services throughout Melbourne’s western suburbs.

You will clean private homes for a range of clients, including families, older people and people receiving disability support.

Multiple casual positions are available, with regular weekly weekday shifts for dependable cleaners.

Key responsibilities

• Clean kitchens, bathrooms and toilets

• Vacuum and mop floors

• Dust and wipe surfaces

• Clean living areas and bedrooms

• Empty bins and complete general household cleaning

• Change bed linen when requested

• Follow client preferences and cleaning instructions

• Safely use cleaning products and equipment

• Respect clients, their homes and their belongings

• Report hazards, concerns or service issues to the TIFA team

Cleaning products and equipment will generally be supplied by TIFA. Where a client has suitable preferred products or equipment in their home, these may be used according to their instructions.

What we are looking for

• A positive attitude and strong work ethic

• Reliable, punctual and available for regular weekly shifts

• High attention to detail

• Friendly, respectful and professional

• Comfortable working independently in clients’ homes

• Previous cleaning experience preferred, but not essential

• A smartphone for work communication

• Valid Australian working rights

• A current driver’s licence

• Regular access to a reliable and insured vehicle

• Willingness to obtain a National Police Check

An NDIS Worker Screening Check may be required when working with disability-support clients. Applicants who already hold this check are encouraged to apply.

Location

Successful applicants must be willing to travel between clients throughout Melbourne.
