Customs House Hotel is a historic Williamstown hotel in the heart of Nelson Place, opposite the waterfront.

We’re looking for an experienced Food & Beverage Attendant / Supervisor to join our team for a minimum of 30 hours per week.

It’s an exciting time to come on board. We’re investing in the venue, introducing new systems including Impos POS, and making positive changes across our service and operations.

About the role

This is a hands-on position working across our bar, bistro and functions. You’ll be responsible for providing great customer service while also taking responsibility for shifts and supporting the Venue Manager and management team.

Your responsibilities will include

• Supervising shifts and supporting staff
• Bar and bistro service
• Opening and closing procedures
• Cash handling and POS operations
• Assisting with functions and events
• Maintaining presentation and service standards
• Helping ensure the venue runs smoothly

What we’re looking for

• Minimum two years' hospitality experience
• Experience across both food and beverage service - desirable
• Confident taking responsibility during a shift
• Can lead by example; is organised, reliable and proactive
• Is comfortable in a busy functions environment
• Strong attention to detail
• Experience with Impos is highly regarded, although training can be provided
• Current Victorian RSA
• Flexibility to work evenings and weekends

Pay: $34.96 – $48.95 per hour
