About the role
Our client is looking for a tenured Project Manager who thrives in a technology-driven environment and enjoys being close to delivery. This is an opportunity for someone who understands software development, can work effectively with technical teams and stakeholders, and knows how to turn complex requirements into clear, achievable outcomes.
You will play a key role in driving software and technology initiatives forward, working across the full delivery lifecycle and helping teams stay aligned, focused and moving towards successful outcomes. This role will suit a pragmatic and adaptable Project Manager who can balance structure with flexibility, navigate changing priorities and build strong relationships across the business.

Job type: Permanent
Salary: Up to $160,000 + super
Role type: 3 days in the office per week once established
Requirements
6+ years Project Management experience delivering software or technology projectsStrong understanding of software development lifecycles and technology delivery environmentsExperience working closely with development teams, including developers, business analysts, testers and technical stakeholdersStrong understanding of Agile delivery practices, with the ability to work across Agile and Waterfall methodologiesAbility to manage projects through ambiguity, evolving requirements and changing prioritiesStrong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate across technical and business teamsExperience managing multiple workstreams, dependencies, risks and delivery timelinesStrong analytical and problem-solving skills with a practical, solutions-focused approachAbility to communicate technical concepts clearly and translate complex information into actionable outcomes
Responsibilities:
Lead the end-to-end delivery of software and technology projects, ensuring successful outcomes across scope, timelines, risks and dependenciesWork closely with development teams and business stakeholders to coordinate delivery activities and maintain alignmentEstablish clear project plans, milestones and reporting to support effective deliveryIdentify and manage risks, issues and blockers to keep projects progressingFacilitate communication between technical teams and business areas to ensure shared understanding and alignmentSupport effective Agile delivery practices and continuous improvement across projectsManage competing priorities while maintaining focus on key business outcomesBuild strong working relationships across technical and operational teams
