Role Description: Help us build and embed automated, audit-ready testing and deployment processes and help get our team ISO 27001-certification-ready.We're a SaaS business looking for an experienced, hands-on contractor to spend the next 1–3 months embedded with our team, onsite. Your job is two fold:1. Uplift our testing and deployment practices, with automated and AI-led testing as the primary focusAI-assisted development has significantly accelerated our development speed, and our testing processes need to scale to match. We need someone who can design and implement automated unit, end to end testing that keeps pace with AI-accelerated development.2. Guide our ISO 27001 certification journeyHelping us understand the gap between where we are today and what certification requires, and getting the foundational controls and evidence-gathering habits in place.This is a mixed hands-on and coaching engagement: some days you'll be building things directly (pipelines, test frameworks, documentation); others you'll be pairing with our team so they can own and run these processes after you're gone. Success looks like our team being measurably more capable and confident at the end of this than at the start — not just new tools.
Responsibilities and Duties1. Review and refine our existing CI/CD practices2. Develop a high level testing and deployment strategy for the company, with consideration for different products, clients and risks3. Document, develop and implement working automated testing pipeline owned and maintainable by the internal team4. Undertake an ISO 27001 gap analysis with a prioritised roadmap5. Support the business as we work through the process of creating, reviewing and approving foundational ISMS documentation/policies
